The Khoton and Khurgan Lakes are second largest and clearest of all lakes in Mongolia, the average depth is 26m the maximum depth is approximately 58 m.
The landscape around the lakes is stunning with forests and snow-capped mountains. Khoton and Khurgan Lakes are home to the Grayling (Thymallus arcticus) and the Lenok (Brachymystax lenok).
The Khoton and Khurgan lakes are located in an intermountain tectonic depression in the northern portion of the Mongolian Altai region, and excellent sport fishing.

Lake Tolbo (Stain) Nuur is located en route between 2 western Mongolian bigger towns, Ulgii and Khovd, and very picturesque.
Day. 1 Arrive in Ulaanbaatar.

Days. 2-3 Arrive in Ulgii. Tolbo Lake.
- Catch an early flight to Ulgii, the capital of Bayan-Ulgii province, from Ulaanbaatar
- Drive to the Tolbo Lake
- Visit Kazakh family
- Fishing day you can fish Lenok,Altai Osman
- Hike around the lake.
Day. 4 Drive to Buyant, Tsengel Khairkhan mountain.
- Visit in a Eagle hunters family
- Learn how to train eagle
- See nomadic life style
- Stay overnight in a Kazakh family.
Day. 5-6 Drive to the Black stone River.
- See a Black lake, there is no any fish it is very cold lake, and it has a crystal clean water
- Fishing a Lenok, Osman on the Black stone river
- Camp in a tent
- Relax
Day. 7-8 Dayan Lake.
- Drive to the Dayan lake
- Fishing day
- Visit in a Kazakh family
Day. 9 Back to the Bayan-Ulgii.
- Drive back to the Ulgii
- Make a shopping for local art and handicrafts.
- Stay overnight in a Bear Valley ger camp and enjoy the luxury of hot shower
Day. 10 Flight to the UB.
- Return flight to Ulaanbaatar followed by a farewell dinner.

Day-3 To Khyargas Lake
- The continuation of the way lake Khyargas (280km) lunch and dinner field term.

- Crossing to the lake Khyargas lake to Telman (300km)

Day-11 To Ulgii
- Croissing Tolbo Lake to Ulgii(75km).

Day-12 Back to UB (flight)
– Some recommendations: Summer months in Mongolia are from early June to mid September. Although the Mongolian summer is hot and dry with occasional rain, the temperature can fluctuate as much 20 degrees centigrade between day and night. So be prepared for all weather conditions
– What to bring: Binoculars, sunscreen, a hat, gloves, long underware for travel in the high mountains, comfortable footware, lip balm, sanitary hand wipes, sunglasses, prescription medicatious, (if needed), rain gear, flashlight.
– Transport: This expedition is supported by a jeep or minibus on the Altai Mountain road tracks.
– Stuff: A Mongolian-Russian, English, French speaking local guide will accompany the group at all times. A cook will follow, Plus driver.
– Meals: Our cook will prepare the meal, we pride ourselves in having cooks adapt with both western and Mongolian cooking on our trip. There are always vegetables available and we have no problem accommodating vegetarians.
– Overnights: This is a vehicle supported camping trip. Tents and mattresses will be provided for the camping nights. You need to bring your own sleeping bag.
