Horseback Riding in Mongolia
If you love horseback riding in the countryside, you will enjoy the wilderness of Western Mongolia. This is an excellent adventure for seasoned riders and it also great for those that do not have a great deal of experience on horseback.
Do you crave an adventure off the beaten path that only can be experienced on horseback? Travel back into the past and see this unspoiled wilderness the way it was centuries ago, by the Kazakh people of the region.
With some tours, you take your chances far away from civilization, but not with Bear Valley Adventures. Even though you are in the wild, you are around experienced guides that have lived in the area their entire lives, and your tour is an eco friendly adventure too.
Not Your Typical Pony Ride
Maybe you have taken a pony ride with the kids at home. This can be a lot of fun but Bear Valley Adventures are nothing like pony rides. Imagine the difference between a local drive to the market and an exciting off-road experience in mud and dirt. This will give you an idea of the difference between pony rides and a horseback experience in Western Mongolia.
Are you tired of tours with set itineraries and everything is planned down to the finest detail?
Where is the sense of adventure when you know what’s going to happen from one minute and one hour to the next? With Bear Valley Adventures, no two horseback riding experiences are the same. You have an excellent idea what you will be doing, but there could be a wonderful surprise just over the horizon at any time.
Wildlife
Are you a birdwatcher? Maybe you have seen documentaries on the lives of eagles, harriers, vultures, owls, goshawks, lammergeyers, and many other bird species. This is nothing close to what you will experience when you see these majestic creatures in real life.
This area is home to a wide variety of mammals like wild fox, gazelles, beavers, marmots, and ibex (Siberian mountain goats). There are many animals that you may only see in a zoo back home, but now you have the chance to view them in their natural habitat. This is a real-life experience that cannot be duplicated.
Safety
It’s not unusual to cover as much as 40 kilometres (25 miles) or more in a day’s time, and you can rest assured that your personal safety is always a major concern of your guides. Your journey will take place on a horse with a comfortable saddle and you will have plenty of time for breaks. In other words, you’re not spending an entire day in the saddle, as this could be very uncomfortable. Your guides also make sure that you receive the best horse for your height and size, to insure a pleasurable journey.
